.Pro Domain Registration is Now Open!
.Pro, the domain name for professionals is entering its second phase. The International Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) recently ruled that ALL professionals can now register a .PRO domain name, and While it is still necessary to self-certify your professional status, the process has become much simpler.
The good news is, unlike other extensions, there are STILL thousands of .Pro names available just waiting to be registered! So if you already own that special .com or .net, make sure you lock in the .pro version before someone else gets it.
How much will a 2nd Level .Pro domain name cost?
If you’re a professional or a business license owner, now you can secure your .Pro domain for only £11.95 for the first year — that’s a 70% discount on normal retail pricing. If you register for longer than 1 year, each subsequent year is only £19.95 (still a 30% saving on normal retail). Special promotional pricing only applies to second-level resolving domains registered between September 8th 2008 and January 1st, 2010.
